Bidgee Dragons Club social weekend at Albury Ski Club via Denise's membership
This is an expression of interest to help with planning for teams, accommodation and catering. Please answer by 30/11/24. Costs will be estimated using this information. Each registered member is asked to reply separately to avoid double counting, or leaving people out. This is a guide so that we can start planning. Of course if circumstances change, please let Denise know asap.
A popular weekend away which has been very successful in past years. Accommodation is at Albury Ski Club under Denise's membership, in rooms of between 2 and 6 bunk beds. (Younger people sleep on the top bunks!). All members, including beginners and family and friends are welcome to attend. When numbers are known, rooms will be allocated with bed configuration so that you know what size sheets to bring. Sleeping bags are not permitted by the club. You will need to bring towells. Pillows and doonas are provided.
Catering is by supporter member Lesley Scott, from Saturday night dinner to Monday breakfast including Sunday lunch at the regatta. It is a community club lodge so everyone chips in to help during the weekend.

"Newbie" paddlers must be six months or less in membership from sign-up.
Four experienced paddlers per boat required

Drummers can be of any gender, age or experience

Accommodation fee
This is a whole of lodge booking in Denise's name for a fixed price. The individual cost is divided between the number of people attending.
In the past, accommodation and catering has been about $80pp for the weekend. As with everything, prices have increased so this is a guide only.
