DBNSW requires each paddling member to undertake an annual swim assessment. If a member chooses not to undertake the test, or does not meet the requirements, they must wear a PDF each time they are paddling, at training and regattas. In NSW, an adult member who passed the test within the previous 12 month, may choose to paddle without the PFD. This may vary when paddling in other states eg Victoria, it is mandatory for all members on the boat. Juniors must always wear a PFD.

A lane booking has been made at the OASIS swim centre following training on 15/2/25 for 10am. The cost is $7 for adults and $4.50 for concession/students.
